It’s a good value and we enjoy our Barefoot Spa.

Since having our Barefoot Spas, it’s helped my wife’s life better than it has to mine, because she wanted a space to relax for her arthritis in her hip. I haven’t had problems like that, just some sore kness little bit.. But it has helped fix two problems for both us and we’re both pretty happy. It’s a good value and we enjoy our Barefoot Spa.

One of my jets already broke

I don’t know if this is a warranty issue, but one of my jets already broke. I’ve only had the spa for 3 weeks. Not happy about that. I called the service tech on the phone, and first he said it’s my water causing the jet to break, didn’t even listen to me, and told me to drain the spa and start over. I had to raise my voice a little for him to understand what I was saying. I’ve worked in customer service before, and I know how it is. People complain, I get it, but you have to listen too! A girl at the same place called me back later in the day, and it looks like it is a defective jet. Well, I would hope so! I’ve owned the thing less than a month! They said they’re sending out a new jet tomorrow, and I should get tracking info. We’ll see if it gets here…

Cover flies off the hot tub beware!

Cover flies off the hot tub beware!

We got the Barefoot Spas PL8 and it fits great in our backyard patio. However, a few things have happened with the spa itself. The first thing was the screw for the siding stripped almost immediately. I have never seen screws strip so easily. I had to remove the siding 5 or 6 times because I had some problems when I first got it because I filled it the wrong way and got an airlock in my pump.

Also, the cover flies off the hot tub like it has wings unless you strap it down. We have a strong wind come though from time to time. It does not say to lock the cover in the owner’s manual. (I read the whole thing), and I figured since the cover does have some weight to it that it wouldn’t take off in the air. Turns out I was wrong. I had no warning of this. A little heads up would’ve helped!
